Notes

The Woman In Black was presented as part of the Stephen Joseph Theatre’s 60th anniversary celebrations. It is a revival of the play originally premiered in the Studio at the Stephen Joseph Theatre In The Round in 1987, which went onto international success and is one of the longest running plays in the West End.
The Woman In Black was adapted from Susan Hill's novella by Stephen Mallatratt; Susan Hill was born in Scarborough.
Directed by Robin Herford - who directed the original and West End productions - it has been announced the actors from the production will go straight into the West End production of the play.
This production also marked the first time the play had been produced with a father and son playing the two roles with Christopher Godwin the father of Tom Godwin.
