Notes

The Importance Of Being Earnest marked the final play directed by Artistic Director Chris Monks for 10 months following an announcement he would spend much of 2013 on sabbatical to work on future plans for the theatre; arguably - given the sabbatical did not lead to any substantive plans for the future - this was a key period in the difficult relationship between the SJT and its Artistic Director which would lead to him leaving the SJT in December 2015. Between December 2012 and December 2015, he would only direct six productions for the SJT.
