The Last Train To Scarborough was adapted from Andrew Martin's best-selling novel of the same name by Chris Monks.
The play was produced in association with the National Railway Museum in York and presented as part of the Yorkshire Festival 2014 (tying in with the Tour de France 2014 coming to Yorkshire).
It was the first play to be presented in The Round with significant multi-media elements. Details of the film credits are carried below.
It marked the first appearance of Scarborough actor Andy Cryer in an SJT production since he made his professional stage debut at the age of 14 in The Winslow Boy in 1983.
